Stout (1958- ), a former employee of Crucible Steel in Midland, Pennsylvania, discussed what it was like to work in the steel mill in the blast furnace in 1978, when he was laid off in 1981, going to school at the Pittsburgh Institute for Aeronautics (PIA), and relocating to Atlanta to work for Lockheed Georgia.
In this second half of the interview, he talks about what the area was like in the late 1970s, what happened after Crucible closed, and what he thinks about Midland, Industry and Ohioville today.
